i did it.

After reading this post this morning, I went out and did it.
I went thrifting, but only for clothes. No home decor like usual. I usually don't buy clothes at thrift stores because every time I approach a clothing rack I get overwhelmed, but for some reason I was feeling fearless and I went for it!

I got:
5 sweaters
3 blouse-type shirts
1 skirt
2 scarves and
2 belts

for only: $49.40!

Isn't this wonderful?

What I love about it now is that you can go buy 5 sweaters (like I just did) from the same store and not only get them in all different colors, but all different styles and brands too! I was originally going to shop at Urban Outfitters for some cardigan sweaters I saw there the other day, but instead I ventured to the thrift store and think it's safe to say I SCORED.
boo-yahhhhhh!

Be sure to check out the last Flawnt It post!

  1. I love thrift stores! Sometimes they're hit-and-miss, but today I got a pretty Banana Republic pink skirt for only $5 at a thrift store!

  3. Yay! It's usually really overwhelming for me, too. My husband likes browsing the men's clothes and the books so if we go together it's best because I know he is going to spend a lot of time. That way I'm more likely to get into it.

  6. Bravo on your thrifting success, my dear! I usually don't have the patience for it, to be entirely honest -- but it's so great when you find something amazing!

  9. I actually just went thrifting (@ Goodwill) for the first time last week! I read on Yelp that that particular store is the "highest class thrift store" around (b/c of all the yuppies who live in the neighborhood.) Haha. I ended up an almost-new Juicy Couture trench for $12.99! I'm definitely going thrifting again!

Yes, please show your thrift store finds!
