Sometimes I like imperfections. Actually, I always do. I think other people look great when they have every hair sprayed, eyelash combed, and lipstick smeared into place, but I get tired of looking at them after a while. Just sayin'.
I mean, I definitely love being "put together" but I never try to look perfect (sorry babe) because that's just no fun and I know it'll never happen for me.
I don't really care if my shirt has some wrinkles in it. My hair is never perfect. I actually think a little acne can be cute. I usually have smudged eye makeup. A chipped nail. And I even get the occasional "green thing" stuck in my teeth!
I love that everyone is different. And I guess I just try extra hard at maintaining my uniqueness (in a non-freakish way, of course)!

ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about perfection. If I'm feeling like my outfit looks really "put together" I usually only half way do my hair because looking too "done" just isn't me either.
