Here are more cute pics of my honey!
It's awkward and awesome Thursday from over at The Daybook!
Awkward:
-When you can't understand what the foreign person at the restaurant is asking you.
-When the girls sitting in front of you take [literally] 89 pictures of themselves and you're trying to eat... am I in the background of all of your "self portraits"???
-When the people sitting behind you are making fun of the people sitting in front of you.
-Getting crumbs trapped in my scarf--can you say "bib for adults"?
-Falling asleep to the rhythm of our neighbor's snoring.
-Sitting in the same spot on the couch when Ian gets home as I was when he left in the morning. I swear I haven't been sitting here all day! I did do something today!

-The way dogs look at you when they poop.
-Getting a wedgie when you're wearing snug jeans... there is no subtle way to fix that.
-The really fast toilet flushers that practically jam your fingers.
-Dreaming about people you only know by their blog.
-Someone walking really really fast behind you... do you look? do you move over?
-When there is a pause in the middle of a worship song, but you sing anyway because no one informed you that they were gonna leave off the second part of the chorus and keep it instrumental.
-When the dog puts his butt on your pillow. And you sleep on it later that night. Ewwww!

Awesome:
-P.F. Changs...soooo delicious!
-My re-discovered love of pina coladas.
-Slow dancing in the kitchen with Ian. Awwwwwwww!
-Slow dancing in the kitchen with Ian. Awwwwwwww!
- Ian's new haircut and my new hair color!
-Going on a couple dates with Ian this week.
-Snuggling to sleep with my husband--it still hasn't gotten old!
-The fact that I was actually in the mood to clean!
-A beautiful, sun-shiny day. There are just so many more options with how to spend your time!
-Singing Do-Re-Me in bed with Ian. Not gonna lie, we couldn't remember all the words.
-The fact that Ian does the dishes ever night after I cook. Best. Husband. Ever.
-Talking to each other on our cells in bed so we could test out Ian's blue-tooth.

Mmmm I could so go for a pina colada right now!
ReplyDeleteOK OK OK. We are SO meant to be friends. I have so many comments.
ReplyDelete1. I have never heard anyone else call scarves "adult bibs" besides me. But seriously, they kind of are. Atleast in my life, they are. I'm going to miss wearing scarves this summer for that reason.
2. I find it kind of embarrassing to watch dogs poop, because they look so silly and embarrassed that you're watching.
3. I'm pretty sure you popped up in a dream once. I can't really remember now, but when I read that I thought "ohmygosh she was totally in a dream of mine!" and as I write this, my certainty that I had a dream with you in it is growing exponentially. Am I creepy??
4. Josh and I slow danced in the kitchen this week too :-) It's pretty much my favorite thing EVER.
5. I've been dying for more sunshine-y days. My moods and productivity are so much better when the sun is shining. Plus I LOVE my sunglasses, so, you know, that's a good thing too!
Cute post. Can't WAIT to show this to patrick for extra leverage to try get him in a stylin outfit post :)

Umm yeah, I always get crumbs in my scarves, especially if I am wearing a circle scarf. I try to shake it out after I eat, but sometimes I forget and look down to see crumbs hours later. Awkward.
ReplyDeletehe is totally stylin' - love his look! it's a good day for a & a's!!! the scarf trap is where Sean goes for leftovers - haha. he always teases me he knows where the best buffet in town is and it resides in my scarf (or down my shirt - how does that food fall in there?, but that's a whole notha level!)
ReplyDeletehilarious, i've had those dreams too, it's weird but wonderful. i think i must partake in a pina colada soon, you've inspired me! awe, i love your loves together, heartwarming share lades. ♥
