Nicknames are so funny. And they are so specific to the people in your life.
Ian and I have the oddest nicknames for each other.
And we never call each other by our first names.
I call him:
Hans
E- Bear
Salty Peanut
Lance
Boyfriend
Sugar Bean
He calls me:
Baby
Pumpkin Pants
Margaret
Margaret
Squooshy Cheeks
Sweet Thing
Girly
I also nickname pretty much everyone else I know.
It's just easier that way.

This is so funny! I recently wrote a blog about all of the nicknames I have for people in my life. I haven't posted it yet, but it was awfully fun to write :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your boyfriend style watch! I want one so badly! And your nail polish color, love it. What is it? Your nicknames are precious. Our nicknames have evolved over time. My hubby started calling me roo, then baby roo, then rooster, now it's Rudy. Don't ask why, I couldn't tell ya how it came about. We call each other babesta and babe. It's weird when he calls me Amy, but sometimes I call him out on never calling me by my name haha.

I love your necklace! My husband and I don't have many nicknames. Sometimes I call him Mr. Hubs, and for some reason on occasion he calls me "Kizzle". I think that was his attempt at being like Snoop Dogg.

ReplyDeleteHaha I love nicknames. Those are pretty random! I also did a post about nicknames one my best friends and I come up with for each other. They crack me up! Nicknames are always proof that you have something special with that person though ;)

I love funky nicknames. My husband and I call each other the same one: Swoop. ;) When he's "mad" at me he calls me pigeon. & I call my little boy puncky. Nicknames are the BEST!
