yellow jacket: nordstrom, striped shirt: old navy, jeans: f21, purse: thrifted, boots: mom
We had a reunion with our Africa team last night and it was seriously so much fun.
Our time together was short, but needed and enjoyed, so I am not complaining.
When you share an experience like a two week trip in Africa, it's hard not to love every single person you went with. When we first got home from the trip I was going through withdrawals.
All of these people are amazing.
That's something else I've learned; you meet some pretty amazing people when you step outside of your regular circle. That might be obvious to some, but I think it's a good reminder to keep your eyes out for people that you see all the time (at work, school, church, starbucks, etc.) and start getting to know them! Life is too short to limit our narrow circle of friends.
so true.
ReplyDeleteand i love your mom's boots

I completely agree about stepping out o your comfort zone and making new friendships... but, more importantly, can I just say how much I LOVE where you live! those trees!!! super jealous (: and that bag?! I die.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your boots!!! You got them from your mom? I'm sure your mom is just as stylish as you are!! I also love your nail polish! What color is that?
ReplyDeleteI too have met some pretty amazing people when I stepped out of my circle:)
xoxo Denise
that is very true about stepping out of your regular circle of friends, I have to admit it is something I am not great at though, I have a really close group of friends and we dont make efforts to get to know other people because we are already so close, This is something I need to do more often :)
ReplyDeleteI love your little jacket and I'm STILL obsessed with that bag!
