You know when people stretch the truth to make it sound cooler?
That's totally me.
I say I live in Portland, but the truth is I live in the 'burbs.
I'm cool with that!
If we had the funds to afford a house in the city (if that even exists) I would totes be there, but suburban life is big enough for us small-town folk.
That doesn't take away my love for the city of Portland (and surrounding areas) though.
Sometimes I'm just so overwhelmed with how right this place is for us. Not only do I love the area, geographically, but I love the people here. And not just my friends. But like everyone. I'm so blessed to interact with these people.
This is where my heart is.
That couch is so cool! I love it! I love that necklace you're wearing too.
ReplyDeleteaww that´s nice to hear! you look great btw :) and aodrable dog you got there.

That is such a cool necklace!
ReplyDeleteHa! I am with ya - I usually say Seattle when people ask where I am from. Truth be told, I live in Bellevue...
ReplyDeleteI TOTALLY do the same thing even though I live in the a burb! It's so much cooler to say I live in Portland! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous! And that couch is amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these pictures of you (: and I totally get it- we live in the burbs too, almost 2 hours outside of LA... But, geographically speaking, this isnt exactly where I want to be. I'd rather be in the mountains, up north, by the ocean, or anywhere that isn't smack dab in the desert! But, I WILL say, my friends and family are here, so it's not TOO shabby (:
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this look. And I feel the same way about where I live. We say we live in Pittsburgh, but we live outside, and all the surrounding areas are just as awesome.
