mom jeans.

Sweater: Burlington, Shorts: Levi's thrifted, Shoes: Trouve from Nordstrom, Bracelets: Forever 21, Watch: JCP

If you've been here any length of time, you know I'm obsessed with anything high-waisted.
I've been dying for a pair of faded high-waisted denim shorts, but obviously couldn't buy any until after my baby was out of my belly.
I just found these thrifting the other day and trimmed them up a little to avoid the 1992 mom look.
You know her?
She has bushy hair pulled loosely back in a scrunchie.
And a wide cropped sweatshirt with no hood.
She also wears hightop sneakers with ankle socks rolled over.

Not sure if I avoided it completely, but it's ok since I am a mom now.

  2. This look is fab! I love high waisted pants/jeans, as well...but can't seem to find a pair that doesn't make my hips/thighs look like hamhocks :)

  4. Haha I think you safely avoided the 'mum' look! You look awesome in this outfit! I don't think I can pull off high-waisted shorts, and I haven't even just had a baby :)

  8. Hmmm...where is your postpartum belly? I cannot believe that you just had a baby. Oh, what a creative way to wear mom jeans. I like them cut off like that.
