small things.

Last weeks wow assignment was to plan a date based off of one obsession or quirk you husband has.
Ian is obsessed with basketball and anything Blazer related, so I agreed to go to the game with him (and baby) last week! Read about that here.

The chapter this week is called "Small Things".
Sometimes the smallest things are the most thoughtful.
I know whenever Ian blesses me with a small thing (whether that be an action, gift, etc.) I feel the most loved and especially noticed.
It's sweet when he buys me something I mentioned briefly a few months ago.
Or when he makes me coffee in the morning even if he's not drinking any himself.
I'm trying to think of the small things I've done for him recently, and how I can do more.
The author suggests making a list of all of his likes/loves (i.e. food, scent, office pen, tool/gadget) and then plan a day with all of his favorite things strung together for one wow of a day!
Need some suggestions?
Meet him for lunch at his favorite restaurant.
Bring in the paper for him.
Talk about his favorite sports team with him (research ahead if necessary).
Buy him his favorite snack-- even if it's junky!

What did you to celebrate your husband's obsession last week? I'm dying to know!

It's not too late to join me in better loving the men in our lives. Will you try this at least once with me?

Are you totally lost and have no idea what I'm talking about? Read more here.

  5. So I told my husband that I wanted to take him on a date and do whatever he wanted. We would eat at the restaurant of his choice and do something afterwards. He said, "I'll eat wherever you want to eat." Hahaha thanks babe, but that's not how this works! We ended up going to El Torito for happy hour and then he decided on Despicable Me for our movie night.

    I guess I'll take whatever I can get ;D
