cardigan: american apparel, onesie: old navy (similar), leg warmers: c/o mommalovesbaby
Ok ok, so I think my kid is cute. What else is new?
I blame his father for giving him such good looks and I just close my eyes and squeeze him a little tighter every time a stranger warns me about the girls to come... *tear.
Yes, yes, when he's 35 and married I will be happy.
It is good for children to grow up.
Another woman will be capable of loving him just as well as I am...
(Does that sound forced? I repeat those thoughts over and over again, hoping one day I'll actually believe them.)
And since he's just a baby and it's not creepy yet, I will go ahead and admit that I am so loving being the only woman in his life.
#isaidit.
Ok, before I start crying let's get superficial and talk about his little outfit going on up-top.
I'm just loving this green cardigan from AA I ordered him a while back. I ordered it like 20x bigger and roll the sleeves so he can grow into it. I wasn't sure if I'd love the color, but turns out I do since it makes his eyes sparkle like emeralds and it is much more versatile than I thought it'd be.
The onseie is perfection because we love animals ova here and you know I'm obsessed with repeating graphic prints.
Last but not least, the leg warmers!
I adore the whole concept of leg warmers as stated here, and this pair was no exception.
Plus, the navy blue goes with everything.
Oh, and P.S. that scary squinty face and drippy bubble chin pictured above are his two new things. He doesn't stop and I don't hate it.
P.P.S. I am now on the Vine-Make a Scene app (which is like video-instagram) and I think my username is sarahcnelly so search for me so I know you have it too!
ADORable.

Adorbs! Love the leg warmers! You writing about how much you love him and how you love being the only woman in his life makes me think about my mother-in-law. I LOVE my mother-in-law, she's amazing, but I always feel like there's that little tension where you want your husband to always agree with you over his mom, show that you are the woman in his life now. Maybe it's just me, I am a little controlling, but your post makes me think I'll understand it all a lot better when I have my own son :)
ReplyDeleteYour little one is so handsome!! I felt all mushy inside reading your post because I can't even begin to think of another woman loving him as much as I do!! Thanks for the reminder that's why its so important to pray for my son and daughter's future spouse.
ReplyDeleteCheers,

Love his little faces!! You have plentyyyyy of time to be his only girl... Unless he has a little sister one day of course. :)
ReplyDeleteMy heart is melting. 'Nuff said.
