must-haves for new moms.

Being a new mama is hard. Rewarding, yes. But hard.
The tasks themselves aren't actually complicated, but there are so many little things you've got to take care of while timing and tracking feedings, naps, and a bunch more.
I thought I'd share some of my favorite New Mama products with you to hopefully help make your life a little easier. And in some cases prettier : )

Satchel Purse: Ian recently gave me this purse and I am sooo pleased with it. It is big enough to throw a couple emergency diapers or pacifiers in it for a quick trip to the doctor without screaming MOM BAG or DIAPER BAG. But I mostly use this as my daily purse. Which has been awesome to sort of have a two-in-one bag.

Nursing Cover: You can read my review of this nursing cover from Pretty Well Covered here, but this thing is seriously amahzing! Not only is it pretty AND discreet, but the thing lit fits in my pocket because of the thin material it's made out of. It's like a poncho that goes all around you so there is no chance of it exposing any of your privates. But it is a little sheer.

Nursing Necklace: Ok, I've never heard of these but Blessed Arrows sent me one and it is like the best invention ever created. You wear it while you nurse so your baby can play with the wooden beads instead of pulling your hair!

Think Thin Protein Bars: These things are très gourmet! 0 sugars 20 proteins and a whole lotta yumz. I eat one for breakfast almost every morning because they easy and they good for ya.

Wear Your Own Bra Shapewear: Perfect for nursing and holding in your loose skin. Wore this every day for the first three weeks of being a mom!

Backpack Diaper Bag: YOU GUYS I'M SERIOUS. If you have a baby or a need for a diaper bag, you must ditch the traditional tote style bag and get a cute backpack. Two reasons why:
a.) Your arms will be free for carrying baby without having to worry about a strap falling off your shoulder and b.) your husband won't look silly carrying it (if you get a gender neutral one).

CamelBak Water Bottle: Preferably the big size. Keeps you hydrated and you can even suck hands-free!

Tinted Moisturizer: Bought this for the day I gave birth. Been using it every day since. It's light AND covers all that I need it too. I've also noticed an improvement in my complexion.

Anyways, I hope this list helps someone out there!

  2. I need to bookmark all of your mom-posts for when I'm getting ready to have my first!
I might try that tinted moisturizer - I keep buying and trying new BB creams and I swear each one has made me breakout, and I don't even have sensitive skin. I just want something I can wear each day that gives light coverage!
